I'm known as the "Mule Artist" as I am a huge fan of that crittur and of the life-styles associated with them.

I've been a Leanin Tree artist since 1981 and have illustrated several books, including Marguerite Henry's

last book "Brown Sunshine of Sawdust Valley". Humor plays a big part of what I do and I am a founding member of

Cowboy Cartoonists International. I now live in northern Idaho -- convenient for that rapid escape to the wilds of Canada.

Yes, I have mules and I love riding the backcountry trails and packing-in with good friends.
